Get answers to common questions about Half Leg Wax.

Most men enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth rate, skin type and aftercare. Regular waxing can delay regrowth and thin hair over time. Follow our post-wax guidance to maximize longevity and reduce ingrown hairs.

Some clients experience temporary redness or ingrown hairs, especially first-time waxers. We reduce risk with exfoliation advice, precise technique, and calming serums. If you have sensitive skin or a history of cysts, consult our therapist before treatment.

Ensure hair is about quarter-inch long, avoid moisturizers or heavy lotions on the day, exfoliate lightly 48 hours prior, and avoid sunburn or recent tanning. Arrive clean and communicate any skin concerns or medications to your therapist.

Waxing involves brief discomfort during hair removal, but pain subsides quickly. We use warming techniques, fast removal and soothing products to minimize sensation. Undress gradually, breathe, and tell your therapist if you need breaks or extra numbing options.

Book every three to six weeks depending on regrowth and personal preference. Consistent waxing leads to finer regrowth and longer intervals between sessions. Your therapist will recommend a schedule based on hair cycle and desired smoothness.

Avoid shaving between waxing sessions as it removes hair at a different level, disrupting regrowth patterns. If you must, trim very lightly with clippers; ideally maintain the recommended length so the next wax can effectively remove hair from the root.
