Get answers to common questions about Eyebrow Tinting.
Tint longevity varies by hair growth, dye type, and aftercare. Typically results last three to six weeks and gradually fade. Use gentle cleansers, avoid exfoliants near brows, and schedule touch-ups every 4–6 weeks to maintain colour.
When performed professionally, tinting is safe for many clients. We use hypoallergenic dyes and perform a patch test beforehand. Disclose allergies, recent procedures, or eye conditions so we can select the gentlest option for your skin.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows and avoid retinol or chemical exfoliants for 48 hours prior. Tell us about medications or allergies. A short consultation ensures the best shade match and safe application.
Tinting primarily adds color and the appearance of fullness; it does not permanently reshape hairs. Our stylists can recommend minor shaping during the appointment, or discuss waxing, threading, or microblading for lasting shape changes.
Avoid water, steam, and heavy sweating for 24–48 hours to allow the dye to set. After that, gentle washing is fine. Use sulfate-free cleansers and avoid exfoliation near the brow area to prolong results.
Tinting can complement other treatments, but timing matters. Wait at least four weeks after microblading or recent brow tattoos and inform your technician of past procedures so we can plan the safest, most effective sequence.
