Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free results for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. With regular waxing, regrowth often becomes finer and sparser, extending the perceived time between treatments.

No — waxing removes hair from the root, which does not cause thicker or darker regrowth. Over time regular waxing can make hair appear finer and sparser; however, genetics and hormones influence regrowth patterns.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially during first sessions. We use pre-wax calming techniques, warm wax, and expert strip removal to minimize pain. Applying a numbing cream or taking an over-the-counter pain reliever beforehand can also help — consult our therapist.

Ensure hair is approximately a quarter inch long (about two weeks growth). Clean, dry skin without lotions is ideal. Avoid sunburn, exfoliate gently a few days prior, and inform us of any medications or skin sensitivities before your appointment.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming, and heavy sweating for 24 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended post-wax lotion, wear breathable clothing, and exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

We assess tattoos and sensitive areas individually. Fresh tattoos (less than 4 weeks) should not be waxed; older healed tattoos are usually fine. For sensitive skin we use gentle wax and patch tests, adjusting the method to ensure safety and comfort.
