Clean, dry skin is best: avoid heavy lotions the day of and exfoliate 48-72 hours before to lift hairs. Let hair be at least 1/4 inch long. Avoid sun exposure, chemical peels, and blood-thinning medications unless cleared.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and heavy exercise for 24-48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended serums, exfoliate gently after 48-72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, and wear loose clothing to allow skin to heal.

Many clients safely wax during pregnancy and postpartum, but sensitivity can increase. Inform us of your pregnancy or breastfeeding status; we'll adjust products and techniques. Avoid waxing during high-risk pregnancies or if your doctor advises caution.
