Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Side Burns.

Most appointments take about 5–15 minutes depending on hair thickness and the level of shaping you want. The service includes a brief consultation, precise waxing, and calming aftercare so you leave comfortable with well-defined, smooth sideburns.

Waxing involves momentary discomfort, but our experienced technicians use warm wax and soothing techniques to minimize pain. Redness is usually mild and subsides within a few hours; applying a cooling gel or aloe helps reduce inflammation.

Ideally hair should be 1/4 to 1/2 inch long (about 7–12 mm) so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too short it won’t remove well; if too long we’ll trim for a cleaner, less painful result.

Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs. Prevent them by exfoliating gently 2–3 times weekly, using oil-free moisturizers, and following our post-waxing care. If ingrowns occur, we offer treatments and guidance to reduce and manage them.

Yes—sensitive skin can be waxed with extra care. We perform a patch test, use gentler waxes and lower temperatures, and apply calming post-care products. Share allergies or medications beforehand so we can tailor the treatment safely.

Typically every 3–6 weeks depending on your hair growth and personal preference. Regular waxing can lead to finer regrowth and longer intervals over time. We’ll recommend a schedule based on your hair pattern and desired maintenance level.
