Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarms.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for about three to six weeks. Individual results vary with hair growth cycles and hormones; scheduling every 4–6 weeks helps maintain consistent smoothness.

No. Waxing pulls hair from the root, and it does not make hair thicker or darker. Over time regrowth often appears finer; thicker stubble is usually caused by shaving.

Some brief discomfort is common, but trained therapists minimise pain with quick technique, proper wax temperature and calming pre- and post-care. Most clients report only a short sting that fades quickly.

Ensure hair is about 3–6 mm long, avoid deodorant and heavy creams on the day, and gently exfoliate 48 hours prior to remove dead skin for a cleaner wax.

Avoid deodorant and active products for at least 24 hours to reduce irritation. You can shower with lukewarm water immediately, but choose fragrance-free, gentle products afterwards.

Active sunburn, open wounds, severe eczema, or recent laser treatments may rule out waxing. Inform us of medications or skin conditions so our therapists can advise or offer alternatives.
